How to grant folder access in sharepoint to a user. First determine what folder the user needs access too. Once you have determined which folder the user needs
you are going to hover over the folder and select the share option

Once the share window comes up you will have a few options. Enter the users email address (If the domain is not on the allowed list it will let you know.) Then select the type of access you want the person to have. You have three options, "Can Edit" "Can View" and "Can't download"
Once you select the permission and you have the users email in place, just hit send. The user will receive an email stating that the folder/file has been shared with them. They will now be able to open the folder/document.
